Gross milk yield of Bashkortostan farms reached almost 1.7 million tons

UFA, 17 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In the farms of Bashkortostan since the beginning of 2015 the gross milk yield amounted to 1 666290 tons, of which 637652 tons were sold, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB reports.

According to the operative data of the Centre for Agricultural Consulting, the agricultural enterprises and private (peasant) farms produced 628767 tons of milk. This is by 10161 tons more compared with the previous year. 548 672 tons of milk were sold (by 12 123 tons more than in 2014).

The three leaders in production and sale of milk are farmers of Aurgazy region (22673 tons and 20673 tons, respectively), Dyurtyuli region (33 781 and 29 801 tons) and Ilishevo region (27968 and 24236 tons).
