The useful experience was obtained following the results of the First Forum of Small Regional Business of SCO and BRICS Member-States in Ufa. The Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev said this at a meeting of the SCO Council of Heads of Governments on Tuesday, December 15.

Ufa hosted the First Forum of Small Regional Business of SCO and BRICS Member-States from October 21 to 23, 2015. It was attended by over 1,400 participants from 22 countries, including Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Afghanistan, Pakistan, the United Kingdom, Canada, Turkey, Uganda, Italy, Serbia, Austria, Malta Mongolia, Ukraine, officials and business representatives from 51 regions of Russia.

A resolution was drawn at the end of the Forum. Its provisions are aimed at enhancing the image of entrepreneurship and creation of conditions for the accelerated development of small business in the regions of the SCO and BRICS participating countries.
