Moderate cold snap is expected in Bashkiria

UFA, 15 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. According to the Bashkir Agency for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, this week moderate cold snap is expected in the territory of the republic.

In the coming three days, weather forecasters promise warm weather with light snowing. The most heavy snowing will be observed on December 16, 17. The air temperature during the day will be from -3 to -8 degrees Celsius, at night to -10 degrees, reaching -15 during bright periods.

The cold snap is expected in the second half of the week. At night the temperatures will drop to -15, -20, in the east of the republic to -25 degrees. During the day it will be -10, -15, and in some areas up to -20 degrees. On Sunday, December 20 in connection with the approach of the cyclone it is expected light, locally moderate snowfall. The probability of strong winds and blizzards will increase.

Last week, the warm and humid weather in the republic exceeded the normal values of this period by 6 degrees.
