Ministry of Environment plans to optimize waste management in Bashkortostan

UFA, 15 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Olga Murtazina/. In Bashkortostan the Ministry of Nature and Environment is searching for contractor of public procurement with initial value of more than 6 million rubles for the development of waste management schemes. As explained in the tender documentation, the reason for the project was bringing public utilities in accordance with the republican program "Ecology and natural resources" and the Federal law 458 "On Amendments to the Federal Law "On Production and Consumption Waste".

The contractor shall carry out research works and provide the material basing on which it will be possible to develop a regional operation scheme on treatment of municipal solid waste and household solid waste.

The ultimate goal is reducing the environmental load, optimal logistics of waste streams, reducing their quantity.
