Russians once again will have long New-Year holidays
UFA, 10 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Russians will have ten-day New-Year holidays. In accordance with Article 112 of the Labour Code January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 of New-Year holidays, January 7 - Christmas - are public holidays.
In 2016, public holidays of January 2 and 3 coincide with Saturday and Sunday. For the purpose of rational use of days off and public holidays the Decree of the Government RF transfers the day off from Saturday January 2 to Tuesday May 3, from Sunday January 3 – to Monday March 7.
Thus, at a 5-day working week holidays are as follows: January 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, 2016. Working hours on Thursday, December 31 are reduced by one hour, the Ministry of Labour RB informs.
