Bashkir Medical University expands cooperation with Chinese universities

UFA, 10 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State Medical University (BSMU) is expanding cooperation with Chinese universities. Under the agreement of the Russian-Chinese Association of Medical Universities representatives of two higher institutions of China are paying visit to BSMU.

The head of the department of cardiovascular diseases at Jilin University, Professor Liu Bing and his colleague the head of cardiology department at Dalian Medical University, Professor Qiu Peng first visited Ufa in May 2015. Then they participated in the Week of Health of the SCO and BRICS member states.

During a meeting with the rector of Bashkir State Medical University Valentin Pavlov representatives of Chinese universities decided to sign agreements on cooperation. Also joint research in the field of cardiology, academic exchanges between students and teachers was discussed.

During the visit, Chinese scientists together with Bashkir professors will make scientific reports at the conference "Topical Issues of Prevention, Treatment and Rehabilitation of Patients with Cardiovascular Diseases" in the framework of the Eurasian Humanist Forum, which opened today in Ufa.
