Ufa Hospital "Mother and Child" is the best public-private partnership project in Russia

On December 7, in Moscow within the framework of the International scientific-practical forum "Russian Health Care Week 2015" the results of the first All-Russian contest "The best project of public-private partnership in public health" were summed up. Bashkortostan was declared the winner in the nomination "The best infrastructure public-private partnership project in health care" with the construction project of the clinical hospital "Mother and Child", the press service of the Ministry of Health RF informs.

The multi-hospital "Mother and Child" was opened in Ufa, on October 31, 2014. The first private hospital in the republic with an area of 33 thousand sq. m is capable of receiving up to 240 thousand patients and conducting up to three thousand deliveries per year. The facility is designed for 192 beds. The structure includes a hospital maternity ward, which includes the department of intensive care, department of pathology and nursing of premature infants; the first in the republic stem and mesenchymal cell bank; surgical centre; consultative and diagnostic centre; department of infertility treatment. In addition, the child health centre is also opened here, including outpatient and inpatient services: children's clinic and pediatric ward for children under 16 years.

"The best project of public-private partnership in public health" was launched on July 1 this year. The list of all the winners is available on the website of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
