Bashkiria was included in the Top 20 of tourist regional rating

UFA, 8 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. Bashkortostan entered the Top 20 of a tourist regional rating. The Centre for Information Communications "Rating" together with the magazine "Rest in Russia" compiled a tourist rating of the regions. The study was based on the tourist attractiveness of the Russian regions and their tourism potential and popularity among domestic and foreign tourists.

The most attractive for recreation experts recognized the Krasnodar Territory (70.9 points), Saint Petersburg (63.2) and Moscow (60.7). The outsiders were Tuva Republic (16.5), the Republic of Ingushetia (17.4) and the Jewish Autonomous Region (18.3). The Republic of Bashkortostan (48.1) took the 20th place of the rating.

85 regions were assessed on nine criteria - the level of tourist business development, turnover of tourist services, the popularity of the region among Russians and foreigners, tourist uniqueness, environment, crime situation, transport and social infrastructure development, popularity of the region as a tourist brand on the Internet.
