Ufa ballroom dance ensemble "Triumph" became fourth in the world championship in Germany

UFA, 7 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The ballroom dance ensemble "Triumph" from Ufa became the fourth in the world dancing championship in “Formation” direction, which was held in the city of Ludwigsburg in Germany.

The world championship was attended by 16 best teams from around the world (Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Romania, Mongolia, Hungary, Russia and others). Within one day of the competition dancers performed their program three times: at the qualifying round – 16 teams, at the semi-finals – 12 teams and the final - six teams. And this time the Germans have the first and third places at the World Cup, the second and fourth went to Russia.

Although this was their first experience in such large-scale competitions, the pupils of the Ufa coaches Rimma and Stanislav Kondusovs performed worthily, having conceded less than one point to the bronze medalists.

Formation is a synchronized dance of eight pairs in the rhythms of European or Latin American program. This direction is well developed in the world and especially in Europe: the sports dances are the third most popular sport after football and tennis there.
