40 companies signed an agreement on oil-and-gas engineering and construction clusters in Ufa

In Ufa, the leaders of 40 companies have signed an agreement on creation of clusters in oil-and-gas engineering and construction industries. The signing took place at the first republican forum "Petrochemical Regional Cluster - Development Strategy" on December 3.

27 signatures of heads of enterprises sealed an agreement on creating an oil-and-gas engineering cluster of the Republic of Bashkortostan, 11 signatures - an agreement on the establishment of construction and assembly cluster of the region. Another mutually beneficial document was signed by the heads of LLC "AVEVA" and State Unitary Enterprise "Institute of Petrochemical Processing of the Republic of Bashkortostan".

"We have established the first regional petrochemical cluster, cluster of low-tonnage chemistry, petrochemical engineering, equipment manufacturers, construction and assembly clusters. All of them represent a single cluster, where each of them has its own interests: some are interested in equipment, some in construction. Nevertheless, this is a single complex, called the EPC-contract when a general contractor performs everything - from technology design, selection of equipment, construction, supervision of installation to post-sales service”, said the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Sharonov.

According to him, today in the republic all competencies that are necessary for petrochemical processing, construction and maintenance are formed in several clusters.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, the event is attended by representatives of companies and organizations of Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, who will share their experience in the development and use of innovative technologies in production.
