Bashkir Wikipedia team worthily participated at worldwide wiki marathon

UFA, 1 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Alik Shakirov /. Yesterday «Wikipedia Asian Month» wiki marathon came to an end, where volunteers from 42 language editions of the popular online encyclopedia created new articles on the Asian topic during a month. The team representing the Bashkir Wikipedia also took part in the "race".

"We participated in the world level wiki marathon for the first time, although we have sufficient experience in organizing and participating in international events. Preliminary results of the Bashkir team are pleasing: 17 volunteers for a month have created 67 new articles, five articles have been substantially modified", the administrator of Bashkir Wikipedia Rustam Nuriyev shared with Bashinform News Agency. "Editors-beginners were assisted by experienced volunteers - wiki marathon we ran together, hand in hand, and it's the most important thing".
