50 percent of Russians are satisfied with their lives - statistics

UFA, 1 December 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM) published the indices of social well-being of Russians in November. The most part of the indicators show a negative trend.
Overall 50% of Russians are happy with their lives, 22% are completely dissatisfied with the situation, 27% are partly satisfied, partly not. The current value is less than the result of the year ago and in 2012-2013, but excels indicators of November 2009-2011. The index of social optimism is losing points for the second month in a row, and in November it reached the lowest position this year - 28% of respondents believe that within a year their life will improve, 20% - will worsen, 40% - will remain unchanged. As for the index of the economic situation estimates, 53% assess the situation as "so-so".
The survey polled 1,600 people in 130 settlements of 46 regions, territories and republics of the country.
