Passenger flights between Russia and Turkey are carried out by Russian companies with enhanced security measures - Rosaviation

UFA, 25 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. Passenger air transportation between Russia and Turkey are carried out by Russian companies with enhanced security measures.

As the press service of Rosaviation (the Federal Air Transport Agency) informs, a set of measures aimed at preventing acts of unlawful interference with civil aviation was developed last week by the Federal Air Transport Agency, in close cooperation with Russian airlines, airports and aviation security services.

Measures include a more thorough screening of arriving passengers and passengers passing passport control. Luggage of passengers is also subject to closer and complete examination with modern equipment and involving dog handlers. Airlines flying to airports in Turkey are ordered to plan reinforced structure of flight and cabin crews of aircrafts, including the involvement of employees of aviation security, and additional technical staff to ensure the safety of aircrafts and preventing the penetration to the aircrafts at airports.

The Federal Air Transport Agency recommends that passengers arrive at the airport well in advance and be side with all measures undertaken, be more attentive and responsible, support all services involved in ensuring security during the personal search and examination of baggage.
