Ninth industrial park appeared in Bashkiria

UFA, 23 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Bashkortostan the ninth industrial park appeared. "Veles" officially received this status, as evidenced by the order of the Government of the region.

The industrial park of 8.3 hectares area is located in the southern part of Sterlitamak. Here machine-building enterprises are concentrated. "Veles" specializes in metal processing and ancillary industries, the press-centre of JSC "Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan" (Corporation) informs.

The main resident of the industrial park of the «brownfield» type is LLC "Sterlitamak Mechanical Plant", the management company and the initiator of the project - CJSC "Magellan".

All activities and investment costs for development of engineering and transport infrastructure of the industrial park are incurred by the initiator of the project. In order to attract residents the Corporation included this venue in the Register of industrial premises in the republic.

Nine venues have the status of industrial parks in the region. By 2020, there should be at least 25 of them.
