Famous Grand Master Anatoly Karpov held a simul with 15 players in Ufa

The famous Grand Master, 12-th World Champion, Vice President of the Russian Chess Federation, the State Duma deputy Anatoly Karpov arrived in Ufa at the chess tournament "League of Future Champions". The competition takes place in the trade and exhibition complex "VDNkH-EXPO". According to the press service of the city administration, more than 300 young players from Bashkortostan and other regions of the country take part at a sporting event under the motto "Chess - the Territory of Equal Opportunities". All of them are winners of national and republican tournaments. During the three days the best players in five age categories will be determined starting from 1998 year of birth and younger.

As part of the tournament Anatoly Karpov held a simultaneous exhibition with 15 players and discussed with the mayor Irek Yalalov the state of Ufa chess school.
