Bashkir State University students - winners of prestigious scholarships

UFA, 3 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State University students are winners of prestigious scholarships named after Andrei Voznesensky and Dmitry Likhachev. Among the winners are the fourth year student of Bashkir Philology and Journalism Faculty Dinara Sayakhova and the second year master's student of the Faculty of Philology Maria Dolgopolova.

The scholarships are established by the order of the President of Russia and are one of the most prestigious in the field of higher education. Applicants for these scholarships pass rigorous selection of the interdepartmental commission.

"The scholarship named after Dmitry Likhachev was awarded to only two students in Russia, the scholarship named after Andrei Voznesensky – to ten. In addition, they are assigned not by quota, but by the competition. Representatives of the Bashkir State University were awarded such scholarships for the first time", it is marked in the statement of the university press centre.
