Forecasters predict snowstorm and ice-slick in Ufa

UFA, 2 November 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In connection with active cyclone passaging over the territory of our republic forecasters once again predict deteriorating of weather conditions in Ufa. According to the Bashkir Department for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring, from November 2 to 4 it is expected occasional wet snow, snow buildup on wires and trees, a weak storm in the capital. At night and in the morning in some areas packed snow and ice-slick will be on the roads. The air temperature during the day will be 0, 2 degrees Celsius, at night -2, -4 degrees.

The city 112 Rescue Service asks citizens to avoid getting close to power lines, trees, billboards, to be careful when crossing the roadway. Drivers should refrain from traveling to the country, observe speed limits and drive cautiously. Strong gusts of wind and wet snow build-up could trigger falling of trees. Motorists are advised not to park under the trees, especially in the yard areas.
