Ufa UrbanBairam Forum will feature PechaKucha Night and International Restaurant Day

UFA, 29 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Ufa the UrbanBairam Forum will feature a PechaKucha Night and an International Restaurant Day. The supervisor of the public program Aliya Aisina told about the planned events of the Festival of Ufa Districts at a meeting with reporters.

"On November 21 the "UrbanBairam" will be open to all residents and visitors of Ufa. At the "VDNkH-Expo" the festival day of the forum will be held. There will be a lot of interesting and useful activities. Our city, having received an accreditation in Helsinki, became an official organizer of the International Restaurant Day. The concept of this event lies in the fact that any citizen will be able to open a coffee shop or restaurant for one day. The citizens will present their vision of street food in Ufa. The representative of the republic was accredited in Tokyo to conduct an informal conference PechaKucha Night. The event is known in the world for the fact that any presenter can display 20 slides on any topic during six minutes. In such an accessible and understandable form urban and community activists will share with what they care about in our city", said Aliya Aisina.

On the third day of the event everyone will be able to take part in master classes with the chief architect of Barcelona and to create his own unique development project of the area. Garbage sorting championship, photo project "Faces of Ufa", art workshops on urban themes will be held for Ufa residents and guests.

As Bashinform reported from November 19 to 21 in Ufa at "VDNkH-Expo" the 3rd International Urban Planning Forum "UrbanBairam" will take place. On 19 and 20 November registration is open at the site of the forum, on November 21 - admission is free.
