Transaero Airline has stopped operation

UFA, 26 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Transaero Airline stopped operation at midnight. Its activity was cancelled by the decision of Rosaviatsiya (Federal Air Transport Agency) on operator certificate revocation dated October 26, according to the website of "Aeroflot".

The Aeroflot airline will continue transporting Transaero passengers until December 15, and if necessary other companies will be engaged. Before December 15, it is left to carry 100,241 passengers with booked tickets for Transaero flights.

To provide additional information for passengers an updated version of the online-service for checking a booking status is posted on the main page of Transaero. Any customer of the airline without contacting the Transaero call centre may clarify the status of his flight (in the framework of the daily plan) and see the details of a new booking. In the form available on the website it is necessary to fill in a passenger's name and surname (in Latin letters as in the ticket), flight number without UN code and date of flight. Information about the new booking enters the online service after the "Transaero" call centre re-registers a new ticket for each passenger.
