Ministry of Emergency Situations warns: snow, blizzard and ice slick are expected in Bashkiria

UFA, 21 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Republic of Bashkortostan forecasts worsening of weather conditions on Wednesday, October 21.

Cloudy weather with sunny periods is expected in the republic. Occasional light snow, at night increasing to moderate on the south-east, light storm are forecasted. There will be north wind 5-10 m/s, with gusts reaching 18 m/s at night. Air temperature at night will drop to -3, -8°C, during the day it will get a little warmer to + 1, -4 °C. Ice slick is possible in some parts of roads. There may be some patches of fog on the roads in the morning, visibility of 500-1000 m.

In this regard, the General Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations RF in the Republic of Bashkortostan recommends: being outdoors avoid getting close to power lines, trees, billboards. Pedestrians should be careful in the streets and while crossing the roadway, drivers - should reduce the speed limit and be careful and cautious on the roads.
