More than half of Russians believe that school knowledge is not enough for Unified State Exam successful passing - VCIOM

UFA, 7 October 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. 54% of Russians believe that school knowledge is not enough for the Unified State Exam successful passing. According to them, additional training courses and classes with coaches are necessary for admission to the university. First of all the inhabitants of the capital megacities talk about it (69%), young people aged 18 to 24 years (61%), people with higher education (61%). Such data were obtained during the survey by the experts of the Russian Public Opinion Research Centre (VCIOM).
At the same time 34% of respondents believe that the school course is enough to be enrolled in university after the Unified State Exam. This view is rather shared by respondents with primary education (41%) than those having studied at universities (31%).
It was interviewed 1,6 thousand people in 130 settlements of 46 regions, territories and republics of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.5%.
