Cold snap is expected in Bashkiria at the end of the week

At the end of the week a cold snap is expected in Bashkortostan, according to the Republican Agency for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring. The weather in the republic during this period will be determined by an unstable air mass of low pressure. Cloudy weather with rains in most parts of the region is forecasted.

In the first half of the period it will be relatively warm with high humidity. On Monday, October 5 day temperatures will reach 9-14 degrees Celsius, at night 1-4 degrees. On Tuesday, October 6, it will be 10 -15 degrees Celsius during the day dropping to 2-7 degrees at night, in the mountainous areas to - 2.

Precipitation will stop at the end of the week and the temperatures will go down to negative values. The cold snap will be followed by frosts. At night the temperatures will drop to -1, -4, up to two degrees in the afternoon, by one-two points colder than normal.

According to preliminary forecasts of the Hydrometeorology Centre of Russia the cold snap will be short and will last no more than five days.
