In Bashkiria accommodation costs in hotels decreased

UFA, 29 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In Bashkortostan, accommodation costs of tourists decreased. The Russian online service for hotel reservation Oktogo.ru figured out how much tourists spent on hotels in Russia and abroad, compared with the last year. The study is based on data of hotel payments in 2015 and 2014 by tourists traveling independently.

According to Oktogo.ru, this year tourists pay for hotel accommodation an average of 3865 rubles per day in hotels of Ufa and other cities of the republic, which is 2% less than last year. In Ufa tourists book rooms in hotels usually for two nights.

In Sochi and Moscow the cost of hotel accommodation for the last year decreased by 7% - up to 3970 rubles per day in Sochi and up to 3841 in Moscow. In St. Petersburg, accommodation spending became more expensive 7% (3675 rubles), and in Nizhny Novgorod - down 6% (3143).

Among the 50 most popular Russian cities for tourism this year Bryansk, Novgorod and Petrozavodsk were the most consumer-grade.

"This year in Russia, tourists paid for accommodation an average of 3,484 rubles per night, which is 5% less than last year. In 2015 Russian tourists spent an average of 5806 rubles per day for overseas accommodation, which is 33% more than the last year", said director of communications of Oktogo.ru Yakov Sadchikov.
