In January residents of Bashkortostan will have a ten-day holiday
UFA, 28 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. In January 2016, residents of Bashkortostan will have a ten-day holiday coinciding with the New Year holidays and Christmas. Decision to transfer the days-off in 2016 was signed by the Chairman of the Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev.
According to the document, in February workers will have a three-day holiday, which coincides with the celebration of the Day of Defender of the Fatherland, in March – a four-day one connected with the celebration of International Women's Day.
In accordance with the signed Decree in 2016 the non-working days of January 2 and 3 (Saturday and Sunday) coinciding with the non-working holidays are transferred to March 7 and May 3, respectively, and a day-off from Saturday, February 20 – to Sunday, February 22.
