UFA, 25 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Ufa a round table conference "For Peace and Progress" was held in the framework of the Eurasian Women's Forum. A great event with participation of over 700 delegates from 85 countries is taking place these days in the Tauride Palace in St. Petersburg. The head of the forum organizing committee is the Chairwoman of the Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of States - participants of the CIS, Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko.

In Ufa the organizers of the round table are the Ministry of Culture RB and the Women's Union of Bashkortostan. The congress hall gathered representatives of executive bodies, the business community, research and non-governmental organizations, including the Deputy Chairwoman of the State Assembly - Kurultay RB Yumabika Ilyasova, the Minister of Culture of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova, Minister of Labour and Social Protection Lenara Ivanova and others.

A teleconference with the St. Petersburg forum took place at the event.

“We in the republic have accumulated a wealth of experience in strengthening interethnic and interreligious harmony, which we would like to share. We could extend our experience to the planetary level! With these words, I addressed to Valentina Matviyenko, and proposed holding the following Eurasian Women's Forum in Ufa,” said the Chairwoman of the Union of Women of Bashkortostan Rashida Sultanova.
