During Ufa Festival of Science visitors will learn to extract human and fruit DNA

UFA, 25 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. From September 25 to 27, Ufa will host All-Russian Science Festival, which combines science and entertainment, theory and practice, art and experiments.

The festival will be held at 15 venues in Ufa, as well as at eight venues in the cities of Bashkiria.

The festival will begin with robots fighting in the Academy of Sciences RB, and then the participants will be greeted from the ISS. On the square in front of the Academy of Sciences the chromosphere of the Sun using a telescope Coronado will be shown.

On September 25, 26 and 27, at the Academy of Sciences, the lectures on a variety of topics - from DNA to start-ups development in Russia and the United States will be read. All activities will last up to 19.00. An extensive program is prepared for visitors of the "Bashkortostan" Concert Hall- the film "Experiments in Space with Mikhail Kornienko", meeting with the astronaut I.P.Volk, interactive lecture "Laboratory of Brain", lecture "Old and New Myths about Evolution". The events are available up to 19.00.

In the Botanical Garden-Institute a tour will be organized for the participants of the Ufa Science festival.

Ufa Planetarium will present the program "Cosmic Voyage", "Astronomy for Children", "The Seven Wonders of the Solar System", "Why We Need Astronomy".

Events of the Science Festival will be held in the leading universities of Ufa too.

At the Institute of Biochemistry and Genetics, Ufa Scientific Centre, RAS participants will learn to extract human and fruit DNA in real time, will be shown an exhibition of mushrooms and plants, will be told about the immune system.

Ufa this year is selected the central festival platform in the Volga Federal District. It is planned that the festival will be visited by about 30 thousand people.
