Bashkir State University will collaborate with another University of China

UFA, 22 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State University (BSU) has another partner from China - Sichuan University. The universities signed an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation during a visit of the deputy director and the employee of the Department for Foreign and Immigration Affairs of Sichuan Province Yuan Honglin and Li Xingcheng, as well as the employee of the International Department for Cooperation of Sichuan University, Xu Jing, the press centre of the BSU informs.

Within the framework of business negotiations with Chinese guests the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Bashkir State University Yulay Yanbaev paid special attention to the dynamically developing educational and scientific relations with Chinese partner universities. Yulay Yanybaev stressed that BSU was interested in cooperation between universities in the field of philology and language learning as well as in high-tech fields of science. According to Vice-Rector, it is important to increase the exchange of students and teachers, to create joint educational programs and work together to carry out research activities.

In turn, Ms. Honglin said that due to increasing cooperation and good language training, Chinese and Bashkir students could participate in various activities of Sichuan Province and Bashkortostan, for example, in the Chinese-Russian Youth Forum "Volga - the Yangtze River". Ms. Honglin also noticed that the leading enterprises of the province would be willing to meet young Russian specialists fluent in Chinese language.

Chinese guests expressed a great desire to maintain and expand their cooperation with Bashkir State University, especially in biology and Russian philology.

The visit of the Chinese delegation continued with tours over leading research laboratories of BSU.
