Schoolgirl from Bashkiria became the winner of European Kickboxing Championship in Spain

The ninth grader from school No. 6 of the city of Tuimazy Zarina Gabbasova won a gold medal at the European Kickboxing Championship held in San Sebastian (Spain). The pupil of martial arts and kickboxing sports club twice knocked out the Italy athlete in the semi-finals and successfully performed in the final game having defeated her compatriot in her weight class. Zarina managed to achieve such high results due to support of her coach Vilmir Nafikov.

The competition was attended by 1200 athletes from 36 countries. Tuimazy athletes brought two medals in the count of the national team. "Bronze" was won by the student of Tuimazy Industrial Technical School Danis Shayhulislamov. In the ring he met with the athletes from Israel and Georgia, the administration of Tuimazy region informs.
