Ufa resident Azat Masalimov took the third place in the rating of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale

UFA, 15 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. Ufa resident Azat Masalimov took the third place in the rating of the Federation Aeronautique Internationale. For the first time in the history of hang gliding sports of Russia the athlete from Ufa as a result of victories won in international competitions, climbed to third place in the FAI world ranking.

Azat Masalimov is the world-class athlete, member of the I and II World Aviation Games, World and European Championships. In 2014, as part of the Russian team he was fourth at the World Cup in France. The athlete is the champion of Russia in the individual championship in 2015, won the individual championship in Kazakhstan in 2015.

At the republican aero club Azat Masalimov teach young cadets to fly on the "Young Pilot" program developed by him.
