ISS astronauts invite to the Festival of Science in Ufa

UFA, 14 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. From September 25 to 27, Ufa for the third time will host the annual National Festival of Science. These days, the capital of the republic will be a central research area of the Volga Federal District.

This year, the large-scale scientific forum is planned to involve more than 20 venues. Two major ones are the Academy of Sciences RB and the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan". At the Concert Hall, as reported by the Fund for Support and Development of Science RB, a meeting with the cosmonaut Igor Volk will be held on September 25, from 13.30 to 14.30.

On September 26, an entertaining show program will take place in front of Concert Hall "Bashkortostan".

Overall, the festival will bring together universities and institutions of Ufa Science Centre RAS. The program will include reports by more than 40 lecturers - Russian and foreign scientists, well-known popularizers of science.

25 exhibitions devoted to various scientific fields will be opened for visitors. Here it will be possible to see scientific experiments, interactive exhibition stands, presentations of entertaining science-fiction theatre, participate in master classes.
