Ufa will be decorated with more than 37 km of illumination on the Republic Day

UFA, 11 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. On October 11, on the Republic Day, Ufa will be lit up with more than 37 km of illumination. This was reported by the head of the city administration Irek Yalalov at a meeting of the organizing committee on anniversary preparation and holding.

In addition to the colourful design of streets and squares, exhibitions and concerts, festive gatherings are scheduled in Ufa. There will be official, cultural and sports activities. The Victory Park will open a monument to homefront workers and ten new models of military equipment will appear there.

The main events will be held in Lenin Square. The visitors will be able to see a big gala concert "My Favourite Republic". The exhibition-fair "City of Masters" will feature modern and traditional crafts.

On October 11, at 15 venues fairs will be conducted in Ufa, where more than 1.5 thousand vehicles with agricultural products will arrive. Gardeners will be also provided an opportunity to market freely their products.

The holiday will be closed with traditional fireworks.
