Ufa is ready to compete for the right to host the international congress of beekeepers

UFA, 11 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Sergey Zakharov/. Ufa is ready to compete for the right to host the international congress of beekeepers. The capital of Bashkortostan is preparing to be nominated as a candidate city of Russia to host the 47th Congress of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations "Apimondia" in 2021.

According to the decree of the Head of Bashkortostan, a special group under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Ilshat Tazhitdinov will be in charge of the preparation for the bidding campaign. The group should develop a plan of the upcoming organizational events and submit it for approval before December 1.

Rustem Khamitov suggested carrying out the "Apimondia" Congress in the capital of the republic during a meeting with the president of the International Federation of Beekeeping Associations Gilles Ratia. It was noted that Ufa had all necessary infrastructure for such an event after the SCO and BRICS Summits taken place there.
