More than one thousand Petroleum University students held a festive march in Ufa

UFA, 11 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Ufa, more than one thousand students of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU) took a festive march through the streets of Ufa, where they were welcomed by the head of Ufa administration Irek Yalalov, Rector USPTU Ramil Bakhtizin and other guests.

Addressing the students, the capital's mayor said USPTU was in the list of leading universities of the country.

Ramil Bakhtizin stressed that "for more than 65 years USPTU has been preparing students for fuel and energy complex, and today the university founded a new tradition".

Then there was a student flash mob and a performance of pop-jazz orchestra of Bashkir State Philharmonic Society with the program "World Hits".

The holiday, dedicated to the Oil and Gas Industry Workers Day continued in the Big Hall of the 8th building, where the students were congratulated by representatives of Bashneft, "Gazprom Transgaz Ufa, Rosneft, Targin, VNZM companies. USPTU employees and teachers were awarded letters of thanks and diplomas.

"Our partnership is a long and fruitful. Now we can conclude an agreement on the extension of cooperation between USPTU and Bashneft Company. Doing this we are turning a new page in our joint work", said the Vice President for Organizational Development and Human Resources PSJOC Bashneft Vladislav Pozdyshev.
