"Dairy Country" Festival was attended by over 40 thousand people in Ufa

UFA, 9 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The Organizing Committee of the 5th "Dairy Country" Festival, which was held in Ufa on August 29, summed up the results of large-scale annual event.

According to the Chamber of Commerce RB, 10 tons of milk were consumed at the feast. Ufa residents tasted almost 44 tons of dairy products, about five tons of butter, more than 2.6 tons of hard cheese, about a ton of soft cheese and cheese products, 1.9 tons of ice cream, 14 thousand cans of condensed milk, more than 3.5 tons of kumys and one ton of goat milk.

In addition, visitors of the festival participated in the training on a fitness area; children competed in contests on the playground. More than 40 thousand people visited the festival.

The organizers of the festival were the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Ufa Administration, the National Union of Milk Producers (Soyuzmoloko), Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
