Leading Russian and foreign philosophers will discuss a dialogue of East and West philosophies in Ufa

UFA, 7 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The main activities of the 7th Russian Congress of Philosophy "Philosophy. Tolerance. Globalization. East and West - a Dialogue of Worldviews" will take place at the Congress Hall in Ufa.

The forum will be held from October 6 to 10. The well-known scientists from Kazakhstan, China, Turkey, India, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Iran, Israel, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Spain, Bulgaria, Belgium and Ukraine will come to the capital of the republic.

Sections, panel discussions and workshops of the philosophical community will be held at venues of several leading universities of Bashkortostan.

"Not only an intense working program but also cultural is prepared for the guests of Bashkortostan. All participants of the Congress will visit the National Museum RB, Vatan Ethnopark , Ufa theatres to become better acquainted with our culture, history and modern achievements in the arts. Of course, we will necessarily treat everybody with Bashkir national cuisine", said the Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Congress, Dean of the Philosophy and Sociology Faculty of Bashkir State University Gafur Salikhov.

Also, the organizers planned a lecture by the President of the Russian Philosophical Society, Academician Vyacheslav Stepin. More information will be published later.
