"Operation Smile" will end with a flash mob in Ufa

UFA, 4 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Ufa the "Operation Smile" charity event, as part of which the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital surgeons operated free of charge children with maxillofacial deformities, will be completed with a dance flash mob. The event with the participation of children and volunteers of the Dental Association RB will be held in Salavat Yulaev Square on Friday, September 4.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan Republic, for a week (since August 31), the international team of surgeons made 42 surgeries to young patients from all over the republic and neighboring entities in the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital.

Currently, a little more than two thousand children are subject to regular medical check-up in the Hospital. Last year, in the framework of the "Operation Smile" 120 children with various maxillofacial defects were consulted, 58 surgical interventions were performed in the Hospital.

This year, in addition to the Hospital surgeons, the doctors- volunteers from the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Minsk and Krasnoyarsk came to help the children.
