Rustem Khamitov congratulated freshmen of Bashkortostan universities with beginning of academic year

UFA, 2 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On September 1, in Ufa the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov visited the "Students Parade of Bashkortostan Republic - 2015", which was held at Salavat Yulaev Square.

The Head of the Republic congratulated the freshmen with the beginning of the academic year and presented them a symbolic student card.

“The army of freshmen is enormous. There are 11 thousand of them in the Republic of Bashkortostan. These people are our best guys which managed to be enrolled at our universities. It is very important that you have entered the universities of Bashkortostan. You have not left us and stayed here. So you will study here and you will work in the republic. We rely on you very much. We need you. We need your knowledge, energy, we need your optimism,” said the Head of the Region. “We know that after a while you will come to replace us, the older generation. You will be our successors. You will love our country, our Motherland, as we do.”

Students, in turn, presented Rustem Khamitov a guitar with university slogans written on it, and the Head of the Region played a song of his own composition about studying at the university.
