Humanitarian aid for residents of Lugansk region is collected in Bashkiria
UFA, 1 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. In Bashkortostan humanitarian aid for the residents of Lugansk region is collected. Mobile collection points are open at the Museum of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division and the Republican House of Officers.
"This is the fifth collection of things for the war-torn Lugansk. At this time the military of Novorossia personally addressed to the activists of public organizations of the republic. They enclosed a list of medicines, food and clothing which they needed. The leaders of the Bashkir Union of War Veterans, the House of Friendship of Peoples, Chernobyl veterans and other organizations joined the collection campaign", the press-secretary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection RB Roza Kuzmenko informs.
The first boxes and packages of humanitarian aid have been already received. Mattresses, pillows, a variety of cereals, canned meat, camouflage and warm clothes are prepared for sending. The legendary 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division participated in liberation of Voroshilovgrad (now Lugansk) region from the German invaders 72 years ago. At liberation of Ukrainian lands many fighters were killed, including the commander of the division Minigali Shaimuratov.
