Federal Agency for Affairs of Nationalities launched a hotline

UFA, 1 September 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arina Rakhimkulova/. The Federal Agency for the Affairs of Nationalities opened a hotline. Citizens and organizations faced with discrimination on ethnic grounds can seek for help through it.

As explained in the House of Friendship of Peoples of Bashkortostan, the hotline is launched in the framework of the state and municipal systems establishment to monitor the state of inter-ethnic relations and an early warning of conflict situations. A possibility to get information directly from citizens and organizations will allow more effectively monitoring and responding to all cases of discrimination. Also, innovation should increase the quality of the activities of the authorities of the Russian Federation on solving issues of the state national policy.

The hotline runs in an electronic form. Facts of discrimination can be reported by writing an e-mail at monitoring@fadn.gov.ru.

The Federal Agency for the Affairs of Nationalities was established in March 2015 by the Decree of the President RF Vladimir Putin. The agency's task includes implementation of state policy in the sphere of international relations.
