Polina Yegorova from Bashkiria won gold at World Junior Swimming Championships

UFA, 31 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Polina Yegorova from Bashkortostan won the World Junior Swimming Championships, which was completed in Singapore. She won a gold medal in the women's 4x100 m medley relay. In the individual championship this time the athlete failed to win medals, the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports RB informs.
Swimmers from 87 countries became participants of the world championship. The Russian team included 32 sportsmen, including the winners of the First European Games in Baku, as well as participants of the world championship in water sports in Kazan. The World Championship for the Russian juniors was the final start of the season.
Total the Russian team won 21 medals - seven gold, four silver, and 10 bronze and ranked second in the medal standings after the Australian team. The USA team is on the third place.
