Rustem Khamitov visited soldiers injured in the collapse of the barracks in Omsk

UFA, 26 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Iliya Spiridonov/. On August 25 in Moscow at the Central Military Clinical Hospital named after Academician N.N. Burdenko the Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov again visited soldiers Vladimir Petrov and Rustam Nabiev injured in the collapse of the barracks in Omsk and talked with their parents.

Since the last visit of the Head of the Republic in July of this year, the condition of soldiers improved markedly. In the hospital they receive high-quality medical care.

Vladimir Petrov is in satisfactory condition, he met with the Head of the Region during a walk in the park of the hospital. Rustam Nabiev has been recently transferred from intensive care to the surgical department. He has strict bed confinement, thus Rustem Khamitov spoke with him in the ward.

Recall that on July 13 walls and roofs of the four-storey building of barracks of the airborne training centre near Omsk collapsed. At the time of emergency there were more than 300 soldiers in the barracks. 19 people were injured, 23 died, including five recruits from Bashkortostan. All of them called to the Armed Forces in the spring draft in 2015. Three soldiers of the republic are in medical institutions.

By the Decree of the Government of Bashkortostan 5 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for provision of one-time assistance to the families of the dead soldiers at the amount of 1 million rubles for each victim. Also the order of the Government RB on the allocation of funds for the rehabilitation and treatment of injured soldiers is being prepared.
