Warm spell is expected by the end of the week in Bashkiria – Bashkir Met Agency

UFA, 25 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. This week the weather in Bashkortostan will be determined by arctic air mass. In the northern and mountainous areas of the republic ground frosts, air temperature drop at night to three degrees below zero was marked on August 23-25.

As the Republican Agency for Hydrometeorology and Environmental Monitoring informs, cold weather in the region will continue until the middle of the week. On August 25 and 26 the air temperature at night will be 2-7 degrees Celsius, few ground frosts from zero to minus three degrees will be possible, with day temperatures - 9-15 degrees Celsius. "These figures are below the norm of the last days of August by five degrees", Meteorology Agency explained.

In the second half of the week the temperatures will gradually rise. In the night hours it will get warmer to 8-13 degrees, during the day to 17-22 degrees. In the southern regions, the air will warm up to 25 degrees Celsius.

Despite the warming spell showers of varying intensity will be observed until the end of the week, there may be thunderstorms with wind squalls.
