Ufa will be a central research platform of Volga Federal District in September

UFA, 20 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. From September 25 to 27 Ufa for the third time will host the annual National Festival of Science. For three days the capital will become the central research area of the Volga Federal District.

This year, organizers of the large-scale scientific forum plan to use more than 20 venues. The festival will bring together universities and institutions of Ufa Science Centre RAS. The program includes reports by more than 40 lecturers - leading Russian and foreign scientists, known popularizers of science, including the Nobel Prize and State Prize holders. Also, the second Science Slam will be held, where during 10-minute stand-ups young scientists will talk about their research.

25 exhibitions devoted to various scientific fields will be available for residents and visitors. Here townspeople will see scientific experiments, will be able to participate in master classes, watch interactive exhibition stands, presentations of the Entertaining Science Theatre, science-fiction movies.

On September 26, an entertainment show program, as well as 3D-mapping, showing the evolution of scientific views of humanity and fireworks will take place in front of the State Concert Hall "Bashkortostan".
