First air-balloons races were held in Bashkortostan

UFA, 14 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. Near Ufa at Pervushino airport the first air-balloons races were held in Bashkortostan. The competition was held among the three teams. Two of them were presented by the businessmen of the republican capital, and the third – by the journalists. According to the event director of the Sobaka magazine Larissa Pidchenko, it is planned making these races annual.

"We believe that at such not easy times people lack beauty and they want to see something really light and airy. It's kind of a test drive. Next year we want to make a holiday for all citizens of the republic. As for the competition part, the winner in these races is selected for speed, correct manoeuvring in the air and for altitude at which the team will be able to raise their air- balloon. Participants are led by experienced pilots who are responsible for the safety of flight", Larissa Pidchenko shared with Bashinform News Agency.

While the teams on air-balloons were hovering in the sky, the guests of the event were able to participate in sports, to learn different ways to brew coffee, to make bouquets and test premium cars. At the end of the race, all participants received prizes.
