Students from France have practical training at Bashkiria enterprises

UFA, 12 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Students of the Chemistry Faculty of the French University of Cergy-Pontoise do practical work at enterprises of Bashkiria. During August, along with the fourth-year students of the Chemistry Department of Bashkir State University (BSU) they will undertake an internship at chemical plants of the republic.

The press centre of Bashkir State University reports that students have already visited several enterprises. They have been at the Institute of Petroleum Refining and Petrochemistry, Manufacturing Company "POLEX Ural", JSC "Ufimkabel", JSC "UZEMIK", Ufa Vitamin Plant, Lasselsberger Ceramics plant. Now they will go to the Institute of Petrochemical Processing as interns. Also, Ufa Institute of Chemistry and Department of State Analytical Control of Bashkortostan are also waiting for them for internship.

This trip was organized in the framework of an agreement on scientific and educational cooperation between BSU and University of Cergy-Pontoise, which was signed in October 2013. It provides for the development of scientific and cultural ties between the two institutions, the exchange of students, teachers and scientists.

University of Cergy-Pontoise is located in a prestigious suburb of Paris. It was created 20 years ago and belongs to the category of "new universities". The university has 22 research laboratories, 10 of which - together with the National Research Centre. The university is included in the list of Shanghai rating of the best universities in the world.
