"Old-fashioned" wedding will be carried out at Ufa Vatan Ethnopark

UFA, 12 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. At Vatan Ethnopark of Ufa Amphitheatre a theatrical performance will be held on August 20 - a wedding in traditional style. Spectators will be able to see a whole range of Bashkir wedding ceremonies based on ancient rituals, traditions and customs.

Experts in the field of popular culture, leading actors and theatre artists will take part in the staging.

At the entrance the guests will be welcomed by Aginey and batyrs, the bride and the groom will be dressed in Bashkir folk costumes. There will be a traditional Bashkir wrestling - kuresh and a horse racing. The performance will be accompanied by national musical instruments – kuray, kubyz and chromatic accordion.

The holiday starts at 18.00. Entrance is free.
