Most frequent causes of deaths are named in Bashkortostan

UFA, 7 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The Bashkortostan Statistics Agency named the most frequent causes of deaths in the region. According to the Statistics Agency of the Republic, from the beginning of the year the leading position in the sad statistics is occupied by cardiovascular diseases - 38.5%. The share of deaths from malignant and benign tumors remains high - 11%, deaths from accidents, poisonings and injuries amount to 8.6%.

Total for six months 28.2 thousand people died in Bashkortostan. It is by 1.5 thousand more than the last year. It is worth noting that in January-June 28,5 thousand babies were born in the republic, so the number of births exceeded the number of deaths by 0.8%. In the same period of the last year this figure was 9.1%.
