Youth of Bashkortostan will pay tribute to the victims of the armed conflict in South Ossetia

UFA, 6 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. A commemorative campaign on the anniversary since the beginning of the Georgian-Ossetian conflict in 2008 will be held by the Young Guard of Bashkortostan. On the night of August 8, the South Ossetian capital Tskhinvali suffered massive bombardment. According to various sources, the death toll reached about 1500 people.

On August 7, in Ufa, the Young Guard members will lay flowers at the memorial "Grieving Mother" in memory of victims of war and as a symbol of peace value. The aim of this campaign is to call for diplomatic solutions to the conflicts around the world.

The place of the meeting participants will be the "Grieving Mother" memorial at Komarov Street, Victory Park, Ufa. Beginning is at 23.00.
