FC Ufa is ready to hospitably meet a big football at renovated "Neftyanik" stadium

UFA, 5 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The press centre of the reconstructed "Neftyanik" stadium hosted the first press conference at the level of the Russian Football Premier League. Yesterday the commission of the Premier League and Bashkir police gave final approval to conduct matches of the premier level at this 15-thousand-seat stadium.

The press conference was attended by the president of FC Ufa Marat Magadeev and the general manager of the club Shamil Gazizov.

The meeting with the media was focused on the upcoming match of the fourth round of the Premier League championship between FC Ufa and the current champion – Zenit (St. Petersburg), which has already won Dynamo (Moscow), Ural (Ekaterinburg) and Terek (Grozny) with the score 2:1, 4:1 and 3: 0, respectively.

It is expected strong support from the St. Petersburg’s fans, for which almost 1,200 tickets are allocated. Ticket sales began this morning and still there are queues at the stadium box office.

According to Marat Magadeev, a grand opening is not provided, but some national flavouring will be available in a light version. Catering centres will be opened for fans directly at the stadium.

It was noted that all rights to broadcast this match had been bought by "Nash Futbol" (NTV). Everyone expects a big sporting event. It is hoped that the local team will give fight to Zenit on Sunday, August 9, at 18.00 Ufa time.
