Bashkortostan Ministry of Forestry disclosed information about fire extinguishing efficiency

UFA, 5 August 2015. /Bashinform News Agency, Arthur Basyrov/. The Bashkortostan Ministry of Forestry disclosed information about the efficiency of forest fires extinguishing in the region. Currently it exceeds 96%.

However, 61% or 17 of 28 fires that have occurred in the forests of the republic this year were eliminated on the day of their discovery.

"All three fires occurred on August 3 in forest area of Zilair, Zianchurin and Burzyan Forestries, were extinguished yesterday, on August 4. The information about the elimination of the last of them was reported to the regional control service at the Ministry of Forestry RB yesterday at 18.00. A total of 65 people and 22 units of equipment were involved in these three fires extinction", Guzel Iskuzhina, the employee of the Ministry informs.

Since the beginning of the fire season 2015 fire damaged about 81 hectares of forest fund, 75 hectares of which - the area covered by forest.
